1. No-Cost Inspection: Benefit from a complete home hurricane inspection at no cost or obligation.
2. Detailed Report: Receive a comprehensive report on your home’s hurricane resistance with suggestions for strength enhancement.

Home Strengthening Improvements:

After your home hurricane inspection, utilize grant money for strengthening:

1. Strengthening Options: Eligible improvements include reinforcing roof-to-wall connections, adding secondary water resistance to the roof, upgrading roof covering, and more.
2. Note for Townhouses: Roof improvements do not apply to townhouses.

Purchase & Insurance Savings:

Explore financial benefits and savings:

1. Matching Grant: Qualify for a Matching Grant—get $2 from the state for every $1 you invest in authorized projects (up to $10,000 or 2/3s of project cost).
2. Sales Tax Waiver: No state sales tax (6%) on impact-resistant doors, garage doors, and windows purchased between July 1, 2022, and June 30, 2024.
3. Potential Insurance Savings: Participation may lead to potential home insurance premium reductions.
